RE: Management of Aquatic Vegetation in Lake Boon
Please be advised that Lycott Environmental will be conducting an herbicide treatment to the aquatic vegetation in Lake Boon in Stow/Hudson, Massachusetts on Friday, June 27, 2014.
The use of the lake’s water in some areas of the lake will be restricted as follows:
- Swimming, Fishing, Boating – No Restrictions
- Livestock watering – Restricted 1 day or until June 28, 2014
- Direct Drinking – Restricted 3 days or until June 30, 2014
- Irrigation – Restricted in some areas for 5 days or until July 2, 2014. In other areas of the lake, restriction for irrigation will be until further notice.
