RE: Management of Aquatic Vegetation in Lake Boon
Please be advised that Lycott Environmental will be conducting an herbicide treatment to the aquatic vegetation in Lake Boon in Stow/Hudson, Massachusetts on Tuesday, August 5, 2014.
- The use of the lake’s water in some areas of the lake will be restricted as follows:
- Swimming, Fishing, Boating – No Restrictions
- Livestock watering – Restricted 1 day or until August 6, 2014
- Direct Drinking – Restricted 3 days or until August 8, 2014
Irrigation – Restricted in some areas for 5 days or until August 10, 2014. In other areas of the lake, restriction for irrigation will be until further notice.
