Stow Springfest event benefits Trooper Clardy children

As part of Stow Springfest next weekend, there will be an Ice Cream Social to benefit the Trooper Clardy Children’s Fund. The social takes place on Friday, May 13, from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at St. Isidore’s Church, 429 Great Road (Route 117), Stow.

Trooper Thomas Clardy is the Hudson state trooper who was killed on the job in March when his cruiser was struck by a motorist. He leaves a wife and six children.

Additional volunteers would be helpful to serve the ice cream. Contact Don Hawkes at 978- 562-6630 for more information or if you would like to assist.
