Opening on Lake Boon Commission

The Lake Boon Commission consists of two representatives from Stow and one from Hudson. Lee Heron, of Stow, has stepped down from the commission in order to become the primary police boat patrolman for the lake. This has left an opening for a resident of Stow on the LBC. Applications for this position are solicited by and are due to the Stow Board of Selectmen by  5:00 p.m. on June 17 . Agenda for next meeting

The Lake Boon Commission will meet on Monday, June, 13 2016, at 7:30 p.m. at the Town Building, Great Road, in Stow.

On the agenda:

  • Minutes from last meeting
  • Open Forum
  • Permit for Stow Recreation boat rental program
  • LBC rules in reference to holidays and quite time and when changes to the 1968 rules were approved by the town of Stow and the director as required by state law.
  • Plan to insure marking of docks and floats as required by rule 10 is done by all residents
