Lake Boon gear for sale at the Walkathon and afterwards
Lake Boon logo clothing and historical books will be for sale before the Walkathon on Saturday, October 15, 11:00-11:45 AM. Come early for the best selection as colors and sizes are limited. Sweatshirts are in particularly short supply.
We all think tote bags could make great gift bags for this Christmas! New items are long sleeved dark navy “T’s” and XXL T-shirts (which cost a bit more that the standard sizes.)
If you can’t make it to the Walkathon watch for an announcement of another Lake Boon sale in November, date, time and place TBA.
Lake Boon Walkathon is October 15
Join neighbors and invite friends to the annual Lake Boon Walkathon, held Saturday, October 15. Register beginning at 11:30 for a noon step-off. Come enjoy the crisp air and fall colors during a 5-mile stroll or power walk around the lake.
New this year are 20 enhanced historical note signs including photos of cottages, clubs, and other buildings that used to stand at various sites around the lake. You’ll be amazed! Additional new signs provide reminders of environmental issues that affect our lake and what we can do to protect it.
Lake Boon T-shirts, sweatshirts and bags will be available for purchase during the registration period. Get an early start on your holiday gifts.
Put on your comfortable walking shoes and come on down!
