Water restrictions for May 23 weed treatment

Please be advised that Solitude Lake Management will be conducting an herbicide treatment to the aquatic vegetation in Lake Boon in Stow/Hudson, Massachusetts on May 23, 2017.

The use of the lake’s water in some areas of the lake will be restricted as follows:

Swimming, boating, and fishing –Until May 24, 2017

Livestock watering –Until May 25, 2017

Direct drinking –Until May 27, 2017

Irrigation – Restricted in some areas Until May 29, 2017. In other areas of the lake, including, but not limited to Hale Road Cove and Monahan’s Cove the restriction for irrigation will be until further notice.

Traffic, parking and sidewalk restrictions Wednesday in downtown Hudson

Downtown Hudson will be hard to get through tomorrow (Wednesday, May 3) since roads and one sidewalk are closed due to a movie shoot. Certain parking restrictions are also in force. See the map below for details. The movie is tentatively titled “Which One Would Win?” and stars David Spade.
