Save the date! Ari “Danger” Day at Pine Bluffs, Saturday August 19

There will be a great opportunity to help out Ari Schultz and his family on Saturday, August 19, as Ari “Danger” Day takes place at Pine Bluffs recreation area here on Lake Boon, from noon to 7 p.m.

Ari, 5 years old, was diagnosed before birth with a life threatening heart condition, and has since had 5 open-heart surgeries and 20 different heart procedures, including a heart transplant in March. While battling rejection, Ari’s family discovered a major mold problem in the walls of their house, which keeps Ari from coming home in his fragile state. Because insurance will only cover removal of the mold and not the cost to rebuild the home, the Shultz family needs our help now more than ever.

The organizers’ goal is to raise money to help the Schultz family alleviate medical (direct and indirect) and construction costs. Together with The Greg Hill Foundation and Battle Road Brewing Company, along with some awesome bands and our great community, they want to put together an event that will help Ari and his family get through these extremely difficult times.

Ari “Danger” Day will be a day of music, games, food and drink, as we team together to help Ari.
