The Stow Police Department has issued the following traffic alert:
On Wednesday, August 23, 2017 the Stow Highway Department will be installing a catch basin at 127 Barton Road from 7am to 5pm. This requires a trench to be dug across the road. No thru access will be allowed while road work is being completed.
Residents can still access their homes by entering either from Pine Point/Sudbury Road area, or from the Hunter Road area in Hudson. Stow Highway Department will be setting up detours for those who need directions to get around.
Stow Fire, Police and Hudson Fire and Police have been notified and have established an emergency response plan for any emergencies on Barton Road south of 127 Barton.
On Thursday, August 24, tree work will be occurring at 99 Pine Point Road. A large crane will be used to complete this work. No thru access on Pine Point Road will be allowed while work is being completed. Residents can access their homes from either Sudbury Road or Barton Road.
Also on Thursday, core samples will be taken at the Barton Road Dam. At this time we are not planning on any closures due to this work, however please plan according.
