Sorry for the very late notice! The Lake Boon Commission will meet on Wednesday, November 29 at 7:00 p.m. in the Stow Town Building, 380 Great Road (Route 117), Stow, Massachusetts. The agenda is as follows:

Holiday tree lighting celebration in Stow December 1

Join your neighbors at the Stow Lower Common, by Shaw’s Shopping Plaza, on Great Road (Route 117) by Red Acre Road, on Friday December 1 at 7 p.m. for a holiday tree lighting celebration. Share refreshments and fellowship as we await the countdown to the official lighting of the 40’ tall spruce. Music and singing of traditional seasonal songs, a crackling fire for roasting marshmallows and the arrival of Santa Claus by firetruck will precede the moment the tree comes alive to the delight of “children of all ages”! In the first basin, the following items were found:

• a blue canoe, located a couple hundred yards north of the town beach
• a blue and white paddleboat, located a couple hundred yards north of the town beach
• a black barrel, located at the town beach

Owners, please let Dave Gray (grayscale *at* earthlink.net) know if you could use help moving them back to your waterfront.

Found barrels

Two white plastic barrels washed up during the last storm. If you would like to claim them, they can be picked up at the Falones’ dock at 28 Lakeside Avenue.

Found items

A blue plastic gas can and white beach ball washed ashore some time this week and can be claimed by the owner(s) at 33 Hale Road. Please contact Red Aylward at 978-793-0321.
