All four sessions must be attended, and students must be at least 12 years of age. To register online, visit https://www.mass.gov/service-details/boating-safety-course-schedule Look for the Stow Class ID (4174) to sign up.

Passing this course is required for youth 12 through 15 years of age in order to operate a motor boat without adult supervision. This course also satisfies the state requirements for personal watercraft users who are 16 or 17 years of age. All graduates will be issued a Safety Certificate. Taking the class as a family is encouraged and has proven to be highly rewarding.
