Boards have recently been replaced in the dam outfall and with the rain today the lake level has gone up about 1.5″ already. The lake can be expected to rise another 10″ in the next few weeks, with timing depending on rainfall. Be aware that time is trickling away for shoreline work at low water levels. If you are thinking about working on your shoreline, please check with your town’s Conservation Commission to make sure you have any necessary permits before you start the job. Contact the Stow Conservation Commission at 978) 897-8615, or conservation@stow-ma.gov. The Hudson Conservation Commission can be reached at (978) 562-2948, or phelinek@townofhudson.org.
