Drawdown update

We have now reached the full drawdown level of Lake Boon for winter, at 14” below norm. Drawdown began on October 10, and it has now stabilized, with a steady outflow that matches inflow from rain, aquifers and streams.  Last week, ice began appearing in the shallower basins. Sharpen your skates. Winter is coming!

For any questions on the drawdown, contact Dan Barstow, Lake Boon Commission, 978-235-3300, DanBarstow@gmail.com
