We have now reached the full drawdown level of Lake Boon for winter, at 14” below norm. Drawdown began on October 10, and it has now stabilized, with a steady outflow that matches inflow from rain, aquifers and streams. Last week, ice began appearing in the shallower basins. Sharpen your skates. Winter is coming!
