Lake Boon Dam update at 1/19 Stow Conservation Commission Meeting

On the agenda of the 1/19/21 Stow Conservation Commission is a discussion with the engineering firm working on plans for rehabilitation of the Lake Boon Dam. The discussion is scheduled for 7:40 p.m. It is not a public hearing. There will be one or more Conservation Commission public hearings later, once the design is complete and the project is ready for permitting.

This meeting is expected to be an update from the consultants on the project status and schedule, and then will delve into some fairly technical issues including impacts to wetlands (temporary and permanent), wetland replication and compensatory flood storage.
