The LBA is holding our annual meeting June 5th at 7:00 pm, at the Stow Pompositticut Community Center, 509 Great Road. All residents of Hudson and Stow are welcome. Those attending are requested to wear Covid face masks.
We will preview activities planned for the season as part of the business meeting. LBA apparel and history books will be available for purchase.
The program will feature a presentation on the Healthy Lake Boon Initiative which has just completed a comprehensive study of the lake hydrology, nutrient loading and other aspects in efforts to reduce algae blooms and excessive aquatic weed growth. Thanks go to the many citizen scientists around the lake for their participation. Lake Boon dynamics have been modeled to enable simulation of future climate change and planning to mitigate some of the anticipated effects.
