“Current” Living: No Gas, Less Noise, Better Health

Last month’s Sustainable Stow/Randall Library talk focused on changing your heating and cooling systems to electric heat pumps. (If you missed it, you can watch it online here.) But a furnace is not the only source of pollution in a home. What if you got rid of all household appliances that run on fossil fuels? Join this month’s talk from Randall Library, Stow TV and Sustainable Stow, which will address switching other appliances and lawn/garden equipment to electric alternatives. The speaker is Paul Reisberg, an Acton native and advocate for greener living. Paul retired from the faculty of Wellesley College where he was a professor of chemistry. The talk takes place this Wednesday, February 16 at 7 p.m. Visit https://bit.ly/3s9o2f5 for a zoom link to attend.
